Electro-Mechanical Cleaning
Electro-Mechanical Cleaning is ideal for the removal of hard substances such as uric scale, lime scale and concrete residue. It is often used in soil and vent pipes and primary pipework serving sinks, showers and urinals. Electro Mechanical Cleaning uses sprung cutters on steel flexible rods, a situation where high pressure water jetting would be impractical or may result in flooding.
Our specialised machines can deal with the more unusual problems such as cast iron pipes where the bore is restricted by a combination of scale and corrosion, where roots have penetrated the drain or where excess cement jointing is present restricting the flow.
Electro mechanical cleaning is also good for the environment as it eliminates the need for abrasive or corrosive chemicals.
